Hi Laura,

Thanks for taking my picture during the recent Showcase on October 22, 2008.

I think it is a great picture.

Unfortunately, there is no way to identify me in the picture.

http://www.capefearsongwritersguild.com/slideshows/2008MembersSlideshow.html

Are you able to put my name prominently in the photo?

If not, I can do it and send it to you.

If that is unacceptable, please remove it as I have to have images of me with the proper identification.

I appreciate your help.

Sincerely,

Subject: Please change Mark Holman's CFSG Listing to the Following, . . . .

Hi Laura,

Thanks for listing me on the CFSG

Please put the following in my profile. The information you have there is incorrect and misrepresents me to the Public. Please replace it with the following:

Holworks - Higher Order Language Works - Welcome to the site of Mark Holman, a Fayetteville, NC native, ASCAP Artist, Publisher, and Cape Fear Songwriter's Guild member. I create music! Music is in me.

Do you want music unspoiled by commercial fingerings? I can give you mood. I can give you an intellectual challenge. I can give you melodies that fix on neurons. I can propel you through the next few minutes through song! It is an honor to have you listen to my songs. You will find no one like me anywhere on any Internet site, in any record store or wherever you go to find and purchase music.

I began this journey in October 2007 to complete in song a poor person's almanac entitled Carolina Commons. That album is ready to record. My second album, Splash, is underway in earnest. I am completing a catalog of songs that you may view by clicking on the ASCAP link just under this statement. Music is in me, . . .www.holworks.com

I went into the studio to record five songs with help from some of my talented musical friends. Just When I Thought, Swift Water, Blue Opal, These Eyes for You, and Raise Your Arms that you may purchase through my home site. The Carolina Commons saga continues as I complete the requirements one by one. It is a slow journey but will be one worth the wait. I appreciate your help Laura as I cannot make these changes without your help

Hi Laura,

I appreciate your help with removing the incorrect information about me on the Cafe Fear Songwriter's Guild site located here: http://www.capefearsongwritersguild.com/members.html

You removed me entirely when I asked you to simply change it?

Why?

I am a member of the Cape Fear Songwriter's Guild.

Is it important to have complete information when representing to the Public?

Is it correct now as it is?

I have provided you with the correct information listed below that all you have to do is copy and paste into the web page, replacing the erroneous information with correct copy.

Instead you removed me entirely?

Hmmmmmm, . . . .what does that tell me?

Do you require payment for you to list me correctly?

Again, I am a member of the Cape Fear Songwriter's Guild and should be represented appropriately. Am I asking for too much?

Your response is appreciated.

Hello Members of CFSG,

I regret to inform you that I will no longer be a member of CFSG due to the person who runs the CFSG website. I wish all of you great success..

Webmaster, you are copied on this message. Please remove my listing, name, and any images you have of me on the following page or any other page associated with CFSG.: http://capefearsongwritersguild.com/members.html

This is long overdue. Yesterday's shenanigans confirmed it for me. I will remove all references to CFSG from my sites except for the blogs of the October and December events in which I participated.

If anyone should have any questions or concerns, you can reach me here.
