I could not sleep so came down for a cup of HOT coffee with the hopes that it will make me sleepy. Usually works!!!!! I really need to get at least 6 more hours of sleep so that I will be able to make it through this day.
Of course this is the busiest day of the year for us. My first 'appearance' will be at 2pm when Paddy & Bill play at the Village Green Retirement Center. The pub opens at 3 pm so I will be popping in and out of there from then until 2am tomorrow. The pig picking dinner will be ready at 5pm and then Paddy & Bill go on stage at 7pm They will be on 2 hours and then DL Token for 2 hours and then Paddy & Bill will finish up the night. I hope to hit all those shows but I will not be staying for the duration of any of them!! Thank goodness I am only a mile or so from the pub. The pub will be closed tomorrow so I will be OFF until Thursday night!!!!!!
I have already done 3 sets of photos for the Saturday night shows. Paddy has gone wireless in the pub so he and Bill can roam around during the show. Paddy stays close to 'home' but Bill moves away...........at least to greet me at my car when I got there on Saturday night. Of course I park right at the emergency door which is right across from the stage. Take a look at this shot............What a way to 'arrive'!!!!!
Think the coffee is working so I better get up to bed before it wears off. Got a lot done during this hour so at least something is going right.
